1. Caring For Your Jewellery

Sterling silver is a beautiful precious metal that will last for generations with proper care. It can tarnish when exposed to the air, so it is a good idea to store your jewellery in its box and keep it covered with a piece of silver cleaning cloth.

Silver can react with the natural acids in your skin, some people will find that their jewellery stays clean after a number of wears whilst others will need to clean it after each wear, this is completely normal and is also the reason why the same perfume can smell differently from one person to the next, we all have differing amounts of these natural chemicals.

Tarnished jewellery can be cleaned with a polishing cloth, just rub it over to remove any dirt or discoloration. Most silver cleaning cloths are impregnated with a gentle cleaning and anti-tarnish agent.

If your jewellery has been neglected and needs a more thorough clean, you can use a liquid jewellery cleaner. Read the instructions carefully, to avoid damage. Swarovski crystal and pearls are fine but real pearls, opals, and similar stones are porous so should not be immersed in liquid.

Always put your jewellery on after spraying hairspray or perfume, this prevents the mist settling on the crystals and dulling their shine and also prevents it tarnishing your silver. Make sure you remove your jewellery before using any product containing bleach, ammonia or acetone e.g. nail varnish remover.

If you follow this advice, and store your jewellery in its box with a piece of silver cleaning cloth, you should only have to give it a brief wipe over before wearing for maximum sparkle!

2. Custom Made Orders – I can’t find what I’m looking for, can you make me a bespoke piece?

Yes, we complete lots of custom made and bespoke orders. From changing an existing design, or creating a completely new design, we can help design something perfect for you. This can be completed over email, just contact us with your query. Custom made orders usually take between 2-4 weeks to complete.

3. Gift-Wrap/Packaging.

All of our jewellery and headpieces are delivered in beautiful gift boxes, ready for gift-giving or keeping all for yourself. The outer postal packaging is standard and often recycled (to help the environment); meaning you can smuggle these gifts out of sight, without suspicion, ready to surprise later.

6. How do I create a Wishlist?

Go to the page of the product you want to add to a Wish List. Select the colour/metal options for the product that you want. Click the green ‘Add to Wishlist’ text just below the ‘Add to basket’ button. You will see a notification saying that the product has been added. You can then choose to ‘view wishlist’ or click the cross to continue shopping.

You can view your Wishlist by going to your account (link at top right of screen), then selecting Wishlist from the menu on the left. Alternatively, scroll to the very bottom of any page, you will see a link to ‘Wishlist’ in the list of Pages on the left of the screen.
